When I read that this pretty card, from a Czech postcrosser, was from Jihlava, I had a jolt of recognition. I almost thought I had been there. But in truth I know the historic town, which lies between Prague and Brno, only from once-frequent trips between those two cities. The sender lives in the Jihlava, and she notes that the view is of Holy Mother's Gate, which was built midway through the 13th century.
