I was delighted to receive this card torn in half somewhere along the way from an Australian postcrosser. She writes about being apprehensive about altering a postcard, but those apprehensions have been blasted to bits by machine or mail handler. I loved getting the card, lovingly encased in an apology envelope, leaving intact my address and the postcrosser ID in the back so I could acknowledge it. Alas, I tried to upload the half card on Postcrossing but the writer had already uploaded the original card. Still, it is interesting to see what the card looked like originally.
