Fishing around in that bag of papers the other day, I also came up with old photos, many of them taken a trip to San Diego. A friend there used to take me out each time to La Jolla to see that seals sunning themselves at Casa Beach. The seals have been under duress of late. Some people want the city to run them off the beach so that people can use it. Others of us are happy to stop and watch. I've already turned this photo into a postcard and put it in the mail.
