long gone



These are two cards I sent to postcrossers. The vintage one at top went to someone who wanted postcards with a lot of blue in them. I guess this one did not make the grade with her as all she wrote in reply was 'thank you'. I loved the blue car, not to mention the one with its door hanging open. The weird retro Cracker Jack Bears were for someone who liked elephants. Too bad that the intended recipient was one of those who immediately went on the "last seen a month ago" list as soon as I had mailed the card.

I love that first postcard! It always leaves me a bit flat too when the recipient of a postcrossing card doesn't make any comment about the card. I usually only send vintage cards now to people who say they love them - they are too precious to waste!
