Every now and then it's good to take a look at yourself, is the message on this kaki (persimmon) sent by a Japanese postcrosser. In my mind's eye, I see trees loaded with the deep orange fruit and house fronts hung with strands of persimmons to dry. Is there any dried fruit as delicious as dried persimmons?
