Dear friend and teacher Suzuki Kei sent this postcard she painted of a Japanese quince flowering in her garden. Boke is the Japanese name for the flowering shrub, but there's a homonym that means senile. That prompted Kei to comment that it's a pity the boke got tagged with that name.
