12th Post-Postcard Show at the Lab

This was the first of three events I attended this evening. The concept here is that the artist gets a box that can be filled with small art pieces, priced anywhere from $1 to $30. I had heard of the Post-Postcard show and decided to enter my work and also check out the event. It was hopping with music and lots of SOMA hipsters doing their Christmas shopping. The boxes carried all sorts of artwork, not all of them postcards. There were little books, fabric, jewelry, gingerbread cookies, ink drawings...I filled my box with 35 paper dolls of famous political figures. When I left, I noted that I had sold just one.
