No Abortion (Under Normal Circumstances) For Myself
I received this postcard from Germany.
Technically, abortion is illegal ... in Germany. However, it is allowed under certain circumstances and the procedure must be performed within 12 weeks of conception. On January 17, 2022, Germany's justice ministry presented a draft law on Monday that would do away with a Nazi-era law forbidding doctors to provide information about abortions. --Reuters

An accompanying letter said:
"This little postcard features a child's drawing and a saying I heard at a Planned Parenthood meeting. Rather than banning abortion, we need to fight unwanted pregnancies through education, birth control and holding men responsible as women for their actions."

According to Wikipedia, "abortion is legally available in Hong Kong." It goes on to say, "In 2004, a news report found that the abortion rate of Hong Kong was the highest in the developed world...Medical experts attributed the high rate to inadequate sex education in schools. "

Effective January 28, 2021, Poland has enforced a near-total ban on abortion. According to Wikipedia, "Abortion in Poland is legal only in cases when the pregnancy is a result of a criminal act or when the woman's life or health is at risk." According to BBC, "The court justified its ruling on the grounds that 'an unborn child is a human being' and therefore it deserves protection under Poland's constitution which ensures the right to life."

No Man Can Decide Instead of Us
A postcard from the Ukraine with the comment, "I def. in for the right for women to choose what to do with their bodies! No man can decide instead of us." According to Wikipedia, "Abortion in Ukraine is legal on request during the first twelve weeks of pregnancy. Between 12 and 28 weeks, abortion is available on a variety of grounds, including medical, social and personal grounds, and for any reason with the approval of a commission of physicians."
